North Berwick Art Group

The Art Group is a long established club (it has been going since at least the early 1970s) that meets weekly to paint and draw at drop-in sessions in the Hope Rooms. Our members have a wide range of levels of experience, ranging from art school graduates through to beginners. We also have an annual syllabus of monthly talks and demonstrations from visiting artists and speakers. We exhibit the work of the group twice a year at our Winter and Summer Shows.

We are a friendly group and new members are always welcome. Come along to one of our drop-ins on Friday mornings in the Hope Rooms, Forth Street from 10 am - 12 noon for a chat. The sessions run from the beginning of September through until June.

About North Berwick

North Berwick is a small Scottish coastal town on the Firth of Forth, some twenty miles northeast of Edinburgh. With a history dating from the first two thousand year old Iron Age settlements on North Berwick Law, through a period as a fashionable Victorian resort following the arrival of the railway, North Berwick is now famous for golf, its two beautiful beaches, wildlife and a great range of independent shops and eateries.
It is also full of wonderful views for painting!
